Stella Duffy grew up in New Zealand, but returned to London fifteen years ago. She has written five Saz Martin mysteries and is also an accomplished playwright and stand-up comedienne.

Stella Duffy was born i London and brought up in New Zealand.She has written three previous novels featuring Saz Martin:Calendar Girl,Wavewalker and Beneath The Blonde also published by Serpent's Tail.She has wrtten two other novels,Singling Out The Couples and Eating Cake,many short stories,several articles,two one-woman shows and,most recently,a stage play for Steam Industry,crocodiles and bears.
She is also an actor,improvisor,comedian,and occasional radio presenter.She now lives in London.
