作者简介
Ginger Adams Otis moved to New York City in 1995, at the height
of the city's housing book. With $50 in herp pocket and images of a
Soho loft dancing in her head, she navigated the mean streets on a
shoestring budget (sleeping on friends' counches), gradually
building a career as a journalist and travel writer. Ginger has
written for publications such as the Village Voice, the Nation,
Newsday, Ms Magazine, JANE, the Ex-Berliner and In These Times, and
also does radio work for Pacifica, the Associated Press, National
Public Radio and the BBC. Although her assignments take her far and
wide, Ginger is always happy to return home to her beloved NYC and
(at last!) her Nolita apartment.
