马韬所*的《英语修辞复合词释义的结构基础( 英文版)/LIGUISTICS语言学研究文库》旨在回答不同的概念映射是否具有对应的结构基础，主要研究对象为英语修辞复合词。通过调查英国国家语料库，运用量化方法，具体分析了身体词在不同复合词结构中基于不同概念映射所出现的不同语义转换。研究发现了概念映射的具体结构规律，以此提出了解释该现象的数理模型，*新了语义识别方法，发展了修辞式的零语境语法。
